Die Teilnehmer*innen lernen die wichtigsten Figuren und Calls des kubanischen Salsa kennen. Vorkenntnisse im linearen Salsa, wie sie beispielsweise in anderen HSP-Kursen vermittelt werden, sind hilfreich, aber nicht erforderlich. Es wäre schön, wenn ihr mit Partner*in erscheinen würdet, ohne geht aber auch.
Kleidung/Schuhwerk: Kommt einfach in ganz bequemer, möglichst sportlicher Kleidung, in der ihr euch wohl fühlt und euch gut bewegen könnt. Als Schuhe eignen sich normale Sneaker oder auch Tanzschuhe.

Da die Kursinhalte aufeinander aufbauen, ist eine regelmäßige Teilnahme wünschenswert. Der Einstieg in den A1-Kurs ist prinzipiell jederzeit möglich. Der A2-Kurs schließt sich nahtlos daran an und richtet sich an alle, die am A1-Kurs regelmäßig teilgenommen haben und die Grundlagen sicher beherrschen.

Participants will learn the most common figures and calls of Cuban Salsa. Previous knowledge of linear Salsa, for example as taught in other HSP courses, is helpful but not required. It would be nice if you already came with a partner, but without is also fine.
Clothing/Shoes: Just wear some casual, preferably sporty clothes in which you feel comfortable and can move well. As for shoes, normal sneakers or dance shoes are suitable.

Since the contents of the course are progressive, regular attendance is advisable. The A1 course is generally open to new students at any time. The A2 course follows directly after it and is aimed at students who regularly attended the A1 course and have a solid understanding of the basics.
