Kizomba

Das Wort „Kizomba“ stammt aus Kimbundu, einer der vielen traditionellen Sprachen Angolas, und bedeutet Begegnung, Gemeinschaft, aber auch Fest. Er entwickelte sich in den 1980er und 1990er Jahren in Angola, zunächst als Musikstil, dann als Tanzgenre, aber Kizomba ist viel mehr...Er spiegelt die angolanische Kultur und Lebensweise wider und wird als Kommunikationsmittel eingesetzt. Kizomba ist ein eleganter, gefühlvoller und fließender Paartanz, bei dem die Musikalität und Kreativität im Vordergrund steht und der sich durch einen harmonischen Rhythmus auszeichnet.

In diesem Kurs lernt ihr nicht nur die Grundlagen des Kizomba wie básico I, II, III, retrocesso, virgula, lady/man saida,... sondern auch kreative und etwas komplexere Kombinationen, mit denen ihr auf der Tanzfläche glänzen werdet.

The word "Kizomba" comes from Kimbundu, one of the many traditional languages of Angola, and means encounter, community, but also celebration. It developed in Angola in the 1980s and 1990s, first as a music style, then as a dance genre, but Kizomba is much more...It reflects Angolan culture and lifestyle and is used as a means of communication. Kizomba is an elegant, soulful and flowing couple's dance that emphasizes musicality and creativity and is characterized by a harmonious rhythm.

In this course you will not only learn the basics of Kizomba like básico I, II, III, retrocesso, virgula, lady/man saida,... but also creative and more complex combinations with which you will shine on the dance floor.
